July 29, 2010 I only have 4-5 more stored LeoG threads left to upload and code into the mini archive. The latest update is the 14-page "Netbooks have arrived" thread that, ironically, portended the doom of the LeoG subnotebook forum to some extent. Kinda sad. Even more sad that page 6 is missing, and I just couldn't find an archive of it anywhere. Oh well.
July 14, 2010 Leog.net thread archive mostly updated: Over 50 saved threads from the old Leog.net forum now reside on the LeoG > threads page. I'll likely only do a few more updates, but these are the bulk of the threads I thought were interesting/relevant/etc. If you see any other through the Google cache that are worth saving, please let me know. This kind of retroactive archiving is a race against time since Google's cache refreshes itself.
July 2, 2010 I've hacked together a page containing a brief history/explanation of the old LeoG.net ultraportable/subnotebook forum and am slowly adding mirror/static saves of old threads. Eventually there will also be a file mirror (manuals and the like) and additional links. Right now, only a few archived forum threads have been uploaded. Left subnav "LeoG.net."
June 09, 2010 Okay, I won't write about netbooks for now. Left subnav links are largely populated now, so I'll let things sit for a little while before diving into content hacking once again.
May 21, 2010 A couple of the links in the left submenu are now working. I'm still working on converting and updating other pages, of course.
January, 2009 I think I want to write about netbooks. It's pretty interesting.
What is this? There are two major and unrelated sections: The first houses a small collection of freeware that I regularly use, all hosted locally. The second houses my (half-static) content for bootable rescue CD-roms.
The third "section" isn't a section at all, but rather an essentially orphaned article I had maintained for the now-defunct Transmeta TM800 Efficeon processor. I am keeping it online for historical purposes.
