Hi Guys,
I just install Windows 7 in my P1620. its really faster than Vista but i can't do the following:
1- I download all recommended drivers for W7 but they don't work o not fuction well. some even doesnt give you a idea if they area working.
2- if i install the Video drivers, the mouse pointer doesn't move to the right direction, i mean if i move to left its moves to the right or if i move up its goes down.
3- The Fujitsu Bottoms doesn't works. I dowmload the recommended drivers from fujitsu, installed but does not work. i don't know what i doing wrong here.
4- No automatic rotation, and i don't know how to make it work.
5- Audio, if i install the drivers from fujitsu the system sound become noisy.
6- There's 2 unknown devices, even with all drivers installed they remains there as unkown.
for know this is what i found, please if some one has resolve this problems or knows a good how to in the web that works, please let me know. please keep in mind that i download all fujitsu drivers and install it but seens doesn't works.

I totally agree with you since my happens to me exactly like you.
W7 P1620 drivers are not for W7 Ultimate or Enterprise, Business and Home alone .... but I'm trying W7 Home Premium and....
only one driver is an improvement and that is the fingerprint.
For the rest it is better to use Vista drivers.
Writing (Journal, OneNote ...) gets worse than Vista, even in "high performance" and not allowing the driver stops to save energy (from the Device Manager) the words takes too long to appear

I'm using W7 ultimate x86 here, i really like it but i used my tablet for businness and i got used to it as tablet. if some one knows how to get the autorotating and the fujitsu special bottons (those close the screen) i will appreciate it. if not i will have to go back to vista business...

But that's with the RC. Autorotate I don't know, I'm actually very happy it doesn't work as I hate that and spent ages to find how to disable it under XP. I use it in tablet mode regularly but always in landscape orientation.

Hello Guys,
I found a solution so far, all you have to do its to install all your Windows Vista drivers in your P1620, then install all W7 drivers from fujitsu. this is the only way i got to everything works ok. |
